Reviews
4.5/5 (overall) - Alexander S
Pros:
- We tried 6 different tools for our chain of API requests, non of these could configure all of them but Uptime could.
- Uptime.com’s service offering is competitive with other top providers, and very simple to set up.
Cons:
- Currently there is no agent for intranet application monitoring but it’s on the roadmap from what I heard.
- The current API rate limiting policy has little tolerance for infrequent but “bursty” use cases, such as infrastructure-as-code via Terraform.
4/5 (overall) - Philippe H
Pros:
- I like the simplicity of the UI and I find that there is a good assortment of monitors, from regular web monitors to simple transactions and also end-user performance.
- Their support team is easy to reach and team members react very promptly. I had an issue with an SSL certificate monitor and they addressed it quickly.
Cons:
- I wish we could set the user-agent string of the monitors.
- It required some coding for us to recognize the user-agent and not treat it like it was an old IE or something like that.
4.5/5 (overall) - Rob M
Pros:
- My team loves the graphs on this platform and checks are very easy to configure.
- The status pages are also fantastic so that we can put out a professional looking status page on our cloud services along with incident reporting.
Cons:
- I’d like to see some more configuration options on the alerts, especially for ICMP. Different levels of alerts based on latency would be helpful.
- Additionally, we’d like to be able to see 1 minute graphs as opposed to only 15 minute graphs.
