Reviews

“ TeamViewer is an excellent remote connection product. ”

8/10 (overall) - Gary Poppe
Pros
  • We have TeamViewer integrated with Ninja RMM and is heavily used daily to support hundreds of remote users. TeamViewer is rock-solid and does the job every time.
  • Works very well for supporting multiple business locations from the IT service desk. Teamviewer performs very well over the internet.
Cons
  • It would be nice to improve the client experience when requesting support from a technician. Perhaps being able to send a link via email to the user would assist the lesser technically capable users.
  • The Teamviewer version that comes with many integration solutions is a far older version than the latest Teamviewer build.

“ One of the most popular remote access tool, and for good reasons ”

9.5/10 (overall) - Jeheen Mahmood Zaman
Pros
  • The Best video quality and optimised connection you can ever find in such a software. The toolbar is functional and better than the ones in the competition.
  • Overall this has been a lifesaver for me. It has saved me trips to the office many times or when I am out of town I am able to work at the airport.
Cons
  • Someone years ago hacked our account and almost did damage to one of our desktop users machines due to lack of 2FA. Thankfully, TeamViewer offers this.
  • The only problem so far that I had is due to unstable internet connection which caused freeze of the display and I was unable to continue, but this is not an issue of the software.

“ An essential asset for your team ”

10/10 (overall) - Luis Daniel Rodriguez Vega
Pros
  • It can be a true lifesaver when you can DO something instead of trying to explain it to a technologically challenged person over the phone.
  • This is an amazing software which can help connect with computers with your colleagues. I have been using it when I did my software development project.
Cons
  • Indeed, their new policy (which their website denies but their forum confirms) led me to search for an alternative, of which there is no shortage.
  • The price is too high if you consider buy the professional version. Some times by mistake the software thinks you are trying to cheat the system and use it as a professional.
