“ Join.me is my favorite screen sharing tool for its simplicity ”

9/10 (overall) - Bernardo M
Pros
  • Very quick and easy to set up, even our clients who are not tech-savvy can easily log in and set up a screen share the very first time they use it. Join.me makes it very simple to swap between which party is presenting and also to add in different emails/phone numbers through-out the call.
  • I enjoyed the login screen and the ability to stay logged in. I also enjoyed having a regular meeting invite that I could duplicate and use. You do not have to have join.me downloaded in order to join a meeting which is SO nice.
Cons
  • I did find that it can lag a little bit when loading screens when you compare it to Google Hangouts or other similar tools, but it’s a small price to pay when you consider the benefits of join.me. If you have a fast internet connection it should be completely fine, the lag is usually evident only if using hotspot with a mobile phone.
  • The sound quality is not the greatest with join.me. It also requires you to have join.me downloaded if you want to present your screen.

“ It is a solid platform to hold meetings and express your ideas to clients or colleagues ”

8.5/10 (overall) - Daniela C
Pros
  • What I like most about join.me is the ease in which you can share your screen with multiple people. This is extremely helpful for conference calls where participants are in many locations.
  • Great for team meetings especially if you want to share screen and present. This is much easier than sending a presentation and hoping your colleagues turn pages when you want them to.
Cons
  • It can be confusing when joining a meeting and selecting who is presenting and who is watching. There are multiple times I and others have kicked the presenter off accidentally.
  • Sometimes has some failure when the call is using Skype, but no all the time and the other side is for developers side, there are some framework to work with it but has some limitations.

“ Join.me - improved group chats ”

9.5/10 (overall) - Alexander J S
Pros
  • And there are no confusing communications as in similar software with join.me you can have the ability to meet with audio and video with such a good and clear quality is a great advantage.
  • This is the perfect tool for screen sharing and webinars with big groups because of its features and functions that allow for a good amount of options.
Cons
  • The only downside I’ve experienced is that at times, I’ve had clients struggle to get the session running on their computers.
  • For some reason part of the stream was blocked by my pihole. It’s either a bad entry on the blacklist or join.me is using a bad service to track something but it took time to troubleshoot this.
