“ TeamViewer Is For Device Management ”

8/10 (overall) - Devon D
  • I love the TeamViewer gives full control over another device while also keeping it safe.
  • A password and ID of some sort are required and are unique to the device you’re trying to connect to. That keeps things very safe.
  • I don’t like the difficulty with taking over another device with a different operating system and having to try to figure out keyboard shortcuts.
  • It has not worked using a Mac to control Windows for me.

“ Great remote support software with a few quirks ”

8/10 (overall) - Phillip W
  • Previously we used VNC to connect, which worked great until Windows brought out their security prompts that prevents a VNC connection from broadcasting what is seen on screen.
  • You’d have to rely on the end user to click OK before your session would resume.
  • With some of the recent Windows 10 updates, it has caused some of the teamviewer IDs on hosts to change.
  • This results in the host appearing to be offline on your teamviewer Computers & Contacts list.

“ The ideal remote connection to control a device ”

8/10 (overall) - Dana S
  • I like to use team viewer because with it or with this program I can easily manage and access other computers remotely.
  • It is very useful for today since we effectively control other devices simply by synchronizing it to both
  • What I don’t like is that for the use of this program we must have a stable or highly stable connection since otherwise.
  • The remote control of the device or computer that we are using tends to be lost.

Q & A

Q. What is TeamViewer used for?

The TeamViewer platform is an advanced remote support software application designed for businesses of every size. Essentially, it is used by businesses to access any device, whether it is a Windows, Mac, or Android device. On top of that, with TeamViewer, you can also benefit from its built-in collaboration tools.

Q. Can someone access your computer by using TeamViewer?

Yes! The whole premise of TeamViewer is that it can access any device anywhere in the world. However, this app can only access your computer or phone when you provide your user ID and password.
