Reviews

“ An excellent service for total task monitoring ”

9/10 (overall) - Erik G
Pros
  • In fact, it proved to be a very efficient tool for general work planning, as well as an additional control tool for our company.
  • It allows you to easily produce work step structures with which you can quickly see the progress of work, and define different baselines as needed.
Cons
  • The program has met our needs satisfactorily.
  • It is very basic to start, and to create the work steps together with the coordination team.

“ Microsoft Project enables you to keep track of resources ”

8/10 (overall) - Dr. Wayne L
Pros
  • In one application, Microsoft Project allows you to keep track of resources (e.g., time, labor, etc.) as you complete your project.
  • It does this through GANTT charts and other various means. You can see who is assigned to what tasks, how much time he/she has to complete the tasks, etc. on a single page.
Cons
  • Microsoft Project costs a business to use.
  • There are other applications available in the market which are lower cost or free. Microsoft Project requires some effort to learn – you may wish to use a tutorial.

“ Works for detailed project planning! ”

8/10 (overall) - Rachel H
Pros

You can create a schedule that’s as detailed as you want it, or as simple as you want it.

Easily customizable. Can use templates, as well. It allows you to make sure that you do not miss any small tasks within even the largest projects.

Cons
  • It is a little complicated to learn. If you make a mistake on certain things, it takes a long time to fix that mistake.
  • A lot of training is necessary to get the hang of the tool. I also don’t like that there isn’t an option right now for auto save. But, once you get the hang of it it’s a great tool.
