Q & A

What is the Wrike app?

The Wrike app is one of the leading project management software that is available in the market right now. The platform aims to provide businesses with the right tools to help them track projects. Wrike offers users a platform where they can properly schedule and manage their projects and receive real-time updates. Plus, users can also generate and submit detailed reports with the app.

Does Wrike provide a free plan?

Indeed, aside for its paid subscription plans, Wrike does offer a free forever platform for its users who are only starting their businesses. However, the plan is quite limited for a growing business. But for smaller businesses, including those working remotely, the free plan offers just about enough tools to get them through their day-to-day tasks.

What are the subscription plans that Wriker offers?

Wrike offers three (3) paid plans for its new users. These plans are: the Professional plan ($9.80/month per user), the Business plan ($24.80/month per user), and the Enterprise plan, which one must need to contact Wrike to ask them about the plan.

Does Wrike have a free trial period?

Yes, for intrigued customers and users, Wrike offers a 15-day free trial period on all of their plans. This would allow a much needed navigation experience that is critical when using a software. The free trial period would help the user decide if it is the right app for their business.

What does it mean when you share something on Wrike?

Once users choose to use the share option on the Wrike platform, that means they are giving permission to other users to access the task or project that was shared. However, one still needs to mention the other users so that they will be notified about the shared task or project.

How and where is one notified when there are any changes made to the project or task?

A user is only notified on the Stream view when following a certain task or project. On top of that, when changes are made, users are only notified when they are mentioned by the person who updated the project, which they’ll see in their inbox. Lastly, users can see all updates on the mobile app and can change these settings until satisfied.

Reviews

“ A fantastic, Grade-A project management tool... ”
4/5 (overall) - Joe C.
Pros:
  • The thing I liked most about Wrike was the easy-to-look-at simple interface. It was user-friendly and intuitive. Most of the tools and features weren’t too hard to find or to use.
  •  Wrike is very user friendly, its easy to learn how to navigate through the program and collaborate with team members on any given task or project that you create. For anyone who is not as tech savvy or is a super savvy user, it is highly flexible, intuitive and easy to understand all the features.
Cons:
  • The only issue we had with Wrike was that they were not able to do an import of our data from our old PM software.
  • The ability to customize the look and feel of a specific calendar that you create to track the future due dates of projects that the team is involved in.
“ Great collaboration tool with a few quirks ”
4.3/5 (overall) - Megan M.
Pros:
  • Wrike is by far the most holistic, comprehensive task modeling, and team organizing tool we are happy to say allows our office to boost to new levels of productivity. We highly recommend its use.
  • Several colleagues recommended the software and upon those recommendations, decided to test it out. I believe it would be a much more useful tool for a company with a greater number of employees.
Cons:
  • Wrike for Project Initiation and defect tracking.
  • It can get confusing sometimes – but it’s more about the user getting confused themselves by all the new things. There ‘s al earning curve for sure.
“ Looks amazing, hard to use in practice, with unresponsive community support ”
4.7/5 (overall) - Verified Reviewer
Pros:
  • Overall I am having totally positive experience with this software. I would say it surely the best choice for task management and can be perfectly used for other purposes too.
  • It has been good so far, but only for certain sectors of our organization. It can be tough to get an organization-wide adoption for a software like this.
Cons:
  • I assumed I’d be able to jump right in and figure it out myself, but I ended up having to watch some tutorials to figure it out. No shame in that, but make sure you know what you’re doing.
  • An urgent need to refine the commenting system. It is inconvenient to leave comments, users often do not notice them because of the inconvenient arrangement of text blocks.

However, like every app on this list, Wrike also has a few negative features that we want you to know. The app has a disorganized UI. File storage management is lacking, inconsistent mobile and desktop synchronization, overly complicated calendar system, and the setup process is a waste of time.
