Q & A

Is Teamwork free to use?

Although normally a paid software, Teamwork does offer a free forever plan that is available for everyone. However, it is important to take note that, like all free platforms, its tools, features, and capabilities are quite limited compared to even the most basic plan of a paid platform.

What are the subscription plans of Teamwork?

Reviews

“ Teamwork Projects and their other applications are great for the size of our company right now. Easy to use and understand and does not require a lot of time to get up and running. ”
4.2/5 (overall) - Carl D
Pros:
  • It always maintains its all services and provides quality results. I suggest it to those prospective customers who are in search of a great project management solution.
  • Everyone in our company works remotely, so this has been a wonderful asset to us. Honestly, without it, we would all have to go into an office together daily.
Cons:
  • I thought this was a computer issue on my end, but other users talked about the same problem, so I would assume it’s something Teamwork should look into.
  • That sometimes our drive accounts can be unlinked and then all of our files get screwed up.
“ Hello! Teamwork is used for project management for our company. We manufacture art books that have a very complicated process -- teamwork is able to help with that. It's right now used for our product development team, and gives us a roadmap of the steps needed to complete each process of making a book. ”
4.5/5 (overall) - Brian Chung
Pros:
  • Creation of notebooks is another great feature of Teamwork Projects because that way all of our team members can always be on the same page. Activity log is great and very very usable feature too.
  • Love the logical layout, reliability of the tool, the ability to track time, set deadlines & reminders, and to have team task-based communication. This tool, put simply, works.
Cons:
  • It’s now located under the drop down menu associated with your profile picture. It’s close to the same information that was once under your dashboard, but it’s more limited now.
  • It may be inexperience, but you have to mark your messages as read instead of them getting marked automatically. Sometimes I also missed communications in teamwork that I appeared to be tagged in.
“ My overall experience was very positive with Teamwork Projects. Every time I have the freedom to choose software for managing my work I choose Teamwork. ”
4.3/5 (overall) - Tigran K
Pros:
  • I like the fact that each project has so many ways to add information to each account. There is an overview tab where you can see the overall health of the project from one screen, and tabs where you can add Tasks, Milestones, Messages, Files, Notes, Links and even Comments for each project in the system.
  • Teamwork Projects provides a simple and easy to use yet powerful tool. Collaborative features and analytics in particular round out a very solid offering among project management software. Teamwork Projects strikes a wonderful balance between feature set and usability across teams.
Cons:
  • It takes a very long time to get everything setup. There is so much to learn about the setup of the product and the free trial is not long enough to set up everything correctly from start to finish.
  • I can’t think of too much of a drawback – ease of use becomes very important when working on teams that may not all be up to speed with web-based collaboration, and that’s where this product shines.

Although it is an award-winning software, Monday.com has its share of cons that we thought you should know. The platform has a steep learning curve. Excel implementation needs to be improved, and the system may run slower than desired.
