  • It requires some training to use for beginners. Also it becomes costly due to the license cost.
  • It has almost all the necessary features for a project team. Project scheduling, cost management, resource management, risk management and portfolio management are some of its features.

  • This is good to track the tasks on daily basis. So this is good to manage the project and schedule the tasks.
  • Microsoft project is an awesome software. I like the fact that each template comes with little descriptions that help you understand what to do and how to do It.
  • Sometimes it gets confused. Also, sometimes working with multiple teams and multiple people per team, it has a hard time allocating resources.
  • Customization is poor and the process of the license is too much.
