Reviews
4.2/5 (overall) - Gio J.
Pros:
- My experience was something I am glad is over and will not be reviewing again.
- Which is very entertaining to me. If your a business owner I recommend this for organizing the plans, schedules and multiple projects at once.
Cons:
- It requires some training to use for beginners. Also it becomes costly due to the license cost.
- It has almost all the necessary features for a project team. Project scheduling, cost management, resource management, risk management and portfolio management are some of its features.
4.5/5 (overall) - Antony S.
Pros:
- This is good to track the tasks on daily basis. So this is good to manage the project and schedule the tasks.
- Microsoft project is an awesome software. I like the fact that each template comes with little descriptions that help you understand what to do and how to do It.
Cons:
- Sometimes it gets confused. Also, sometimes working with multiple teams and multiple people per team, it has a hard time allocating resources.
- Customization is poor and the process of the license is too much.
4.7/5 (overall) - Cesar C.
Pros:
- Task Adding Feature of ms Project is very Easy and We can Easily Edit order Without Any Problem, simple planning and scheduling
- 1. Ease of use 2. Fast data entry 3. Visible Gant chart
Cons:
- Cost Of resources Added Feature is Less also there must be option for creating Some regulate chart like planned progress vs Actual progress , Sn Curve Etc
- Columns are locked to function only one way 2. Date fields don’t default to today’s date 3. No means to separate one project from another
There’s no such thing as perfect software, there will always be some disadvantages and Microsoft Project has a few. It has a complex interface, a limited number of templates, more expensive compared to others, and the reporting tools could be better.
