“ Future of the presentation ”

7/10 (overall) - Penny D
Pros
  • I really like the new changes that Prez is making to the slide show. Instead of moving from one slide to another, just move on to the next bubble.
  • This is an information network that allows users to combine their presentations.
Cons
  • Prezi has quite a steep learning curve If you are looking for a simple presentation solution, you should consider choosing a prezi.
  • This could be really confusing for beginners, because there aren’t many tips.

“ Prezi is the best solution for making all kinds of slides. ”

8/10 (overall) - Alberto M
Pros
  • It offers a great variety of templates, with very good designs and with excellent colors which give creativity to the slide.
  • The Prezi user interface Web version is very stable, and provides an impressive fluidity for the development of the slide.
Cons
  • The desktop version does not allow viewing the downloaded slide if the Prezi application is not installed on the computer, which greatly complicates the transfer of the slide to another computer.
  • The Prezi desktop app is very slow to start, it takes a long time despite having a good computer and a good network connection.

“ Stability and optimized creation of all types of slides. ”

8/10 (overall) - Angel N
Pros
  • Prezi provided really striking designs for all kinds of presentations, with respect to the templates it offers. The designs are very colorful, and inspiring a formal presentation with very good order of information.
  • Prezi offers many forms and “pre-designed” drawings which can be inserted in any device that is being made. These shapes are revamped, and give each slide a better view. I admire every shape that Prezi offers, they really are eye-catching.
Cons
  • The Prezi App for computers has many problems for the visualization of the downloaded slides. Sometimes downloaded slides cannot be viewed on computers that do not have Prezi installed.
  • It is very difficult to convert the slides into PDF using the Prezi App for computers. The times I have tried to do this I have waited over half an hour and the process never completes successfully, which has forced me to convert the slide using the web version.

Q & A

Q. What is Prezi best used for?

The Prezi app is primarily used for creating interactive, enjoyable, and insightful presentations for any user. In its most basic sense, Prezi is an online presentation app where users can generate their own presentations and share them with their desired recipients. Aside from that, this platform also enables you to create video presentations, which allows you to add graphics alongside your video presentations.

Q. How much does Prezi cost?

If interested in using Prezi, the app offers you six subscription options to choose from. These are the Standard plan ($5/month), the Plus plan ($15/month), the Premium plan ($59/month), the EDU Plus plan ($5/month), while the EDU Teams and Teams plans are offered as a one-time purchase.

Q. Does Prezi provide a free trial?

Yes! With Prezi, you will not need to consider purchasing a premium subscription if you are still reluctant. You can simply go ahead and avail of Prezi’s free 14-day trial period. On top of that, this trial period is available for their Standard, Plus, Premium, and EDU Plus plans. With Prezi, you will not need to worry about inputting your credit card information during the trial period.

Q. Is Prezi a free software?

Since we already discussed the six paid subscriptions that Prezi offers, it is not a free software to use entirely. However, it does provide a free forever plan, called the Basic plan, which you can avail at any time. That said, this free plan is quite limited. As a matter of fact, Prezi’s Basic plan only allows you to create up to five online presentations.
