This huge leap is thanks to the excellent steering of company CEO, James Goodnight, and a few superb employees – namely John Beimler, Bill Gibson, and Darryl J. Ivan. Plus, the company also has more than 13,000 hardworking employees that envelopes the enterprise.

Still based in Cary, North Carolina, SAS has 2,000 reviews from satisfied customers from around the world. “ Reports load fast ”

9.5/10 (overall) - Prathibha c.
  • Easy to use . Point and click interface.
  • Anybody can develop a report without knowing having sas programming skill.
  • The logs are misleading.
  • There are always errors/warnings in the logs which SAS suggests safe to ignore.

“ Works pretty well. A bear to learn ”

8.5/10 (overall) - Laura D
  • I like that it is a robust system and rarely if ever crashes.
  • It works well when I am trying to analyze data. Most recently I used SAS for analyzing.
  • It is hard to learn to use, initially, but once you have that down, it is easy to maneuver.
  • Not as intuitive as programs like SPSS. Requires a course in SAS in order to use it.

“ My experience with SAS. ”

9/10 (overall) - Katherine Y
  • Easy to learn if new to analysis software.
  • SAS is a great tool for doing high-level, more complex analyses like Statistical Equation Modeling, Cluster Analysis, etc.
  • It’s not the most user friendly platform, that’s for sure. It used to be entirely syntax based, although recently they’ve added the ability to do click menus, which is really nice.
  • I don’t use it all that often, since it has really stepped up their game recently and is able to handle the majority of my needs.
