- Easy to use . Point and click interface.
- Anybody can develop a report without knowing having sas programming skill.
- The logs are misleading.
- There are always errors/warnings in the logs which SAS suggests safe to ignore.

- It is hard to learn to use, initially, but once you have that down, it is easy to maneuver.

- Easy to learn if new to analysis software.
- SAS is a great tool for doing high-level, more complex analyses like Statistical Equation Modeling, Cluster Analysis, etc.
- It’s not the most user friendly platform, that’s for sure. It used to be entirely syntax based, although recently they’ve added the ability to do click menus, which is really nice.
- I don’t use it all that often, since it has really stepped up their game recently and is able to handle the majority of my needs.
