Pros:
  • Incredibly powerful rules and automation flows. SUPER TIGHT integration with Shopify.
  • The segments. Klaviyo is pre set up to segment all of your customers so that you can run any campaign you want. Win backs, retention whatever it’s simply amazing no more grunt work going through orders and compiling lists.
Cons:
  • Deliverability is a concern. Support is slow to respond.
  • If I had to choose something I would say the cost but really it’s worth every penny. It’s very hard to find flaws with the software. It doesn’t integrate perfectly with our frontend which uses Vue Storefront but we found a solution.

Pros:
  • Klaviyo is extremely easy to setup, especially compared to its competitors. You have the freedom to link Klaviyo with your WordPress/WooCommerce website seamlessly.
  • Klaviyo makes it super easy to segment customers based on any number of attributes. This has been such a great feature that I can really get granular about my audience.
Cons:
  • The only thing I struggle with is when I’m trying to build out an email template within the platform. The coding that needs to be done can take my dev team some time but it’s nothing major.
  • Some features are a bit confusing, but that’s to be expected with that level of power.

Pros:
  • Emailing is one of the best tools to increase customer loyalty and re-purchasing at e-commerce and Klaviyo was designed to really help in this matter.
  • I did not need to watch tutorials really to figure stuff out. Since it was new to me, along with setting up a shopify store, I did need some help from support and they were great.
Cons:
  • There’s very little I dislike about this software. My only complaint is small – when creating a new sequence, you can’t change the “trigger” that initiates the flow.
  • Up front it asked me to make a deposit of $20 to be used on future charges moving forward.
