8/10 (overall) - Marco U
  • I like that this search engine is available in such a large variety of languages.
  • Great for corporations and assisting people from all walks of life – also brings in resources from a wider net at this point.
  • Microsoft often breaks the product when trying to connect it to Azure blob storage, one week it works, the other one it doesn’t and it happens quite often.
  • Azure Search OCR still needs work, its not perfect yet but Microsoft has been trying to improve it as of lately

“ Great Search Tool ”

8/10 (overall) - Brian M
  • Microsoft really pulled out a winner with this one. The way you index content can be done or manually in the portal, but the shining star is how you consume the search results once that data is indexed.
  • It is insanely fast. Faster than I expected. The features like dynamic facets and dynamic scoring profiles are hard to beat.
  • This is a small thing, but it would be nice to know when you hit some of the limits in terms or indexes or documents in an index before you actually hit them.
  • Maybe some sort of alert system or something that Azure would tell you.
