Reviews

“ Good ”

7/10 (overall) - Cari P.
Pros
  • Ease of use.
  • Much easier to find / search files than going through physical files.
Cons
  • Hasn’t eliminated paper copies (yet) for our organization.
  • One of the things I dislike the most about this software is how it’s never guaranteed that work will be saved if you don’t use the check in/check out feature.

“ Organize Your Business ”

8/10 (overall) - Daniel V.
Pros
  •  I like that it is very user friendly and has a useful search function that allows me to search by either the title of the document or the fields within the document.
  • I can also add notes to each page of documents and specify which security level indicated gets to view them.
Cons
  • When I move a PDF into a Laserfiche file, I cannot combine it with another electronic file.
  • I would have to manually print it out and scan it into the desired file in order for them to be a part of the same document.

“ Get rid of all your file cabinets! ”

9.5/10 (overall) - Jean S.
Pros
  • It is a good filing system, but what makes it even better is the ability to search.
  • Previously, if something was misfiled (paper filing system) you would just have to wait until you found it (which my be never.)
Cons
  • If I am printing from a document (usually a pdf from someone else) into Laserfiche, occasionally the document does not come thru into Laserfiche correctly.
  • Don’t know this unless you go and check the document.

Q & A

Q. What is the Laserfiche platform used for?

First and foremost, the Laserfiche platform is an enterprise content management platform or ECM. It offers tools and features for businesses of all sizes to create, edit, track, share, and scan various contexts, including documents and other files. Plus, it also offers document management functionality for all its users.

Q. How much does Laserfiche cost?

The Laserfiche platform only offers one (1) subscription based plan, unlike most software that offers three (3) to four (4) subscription plans. This plan is the Laserfiche Cloud plan and it costs $60/user per month. Additionally, the platform offers a discount if you choose an annual subscription.

Q. Does the Laserfiche app offer add-ons?

Yes, it does. Laserfiche knows that some users need more functionality and storage. That is why it offers two add-ons for all potential users. These are the Additional Storage add-on ($15/month/10gb) and the Additional Network Activity add-on ($25/month/10gb).

Q. Is there a free trial period before subscribing to a paid plan from Laserfiche?

Unfortunately, the Laserfiche software does not offer a free trial period. The app only offers a free demo on how to use the Laserfiche system. Although not as effective as a free trial, this still offers you with enough knowledge on how to use the platform properly. You can request a demo on the Laserfiche website.
