NetSuite CRM

A product of NetSuite cloud computing company, NetSuite CRM is a complete CRM solution that provides a 360-degree view of customers’ CRM processes. NetSuite CRM was primarily known as part of NetSuite’s former name, NetLedger, in 1998, as Evan Goldberg established it in San Mateo, California. The company instantly became recognized in the industry as one of the first cloud computing software and gathered significant turning points as NetSuite obtained Larry Ellison as one of their original investors, accumulating $125 million in 1998. However, in November 2016, NetSuite CRM becomes a part of Oracle Corporation as it acquired NetSuite for approximately US$9.3 billion. NetSuite defuncts, rebuilds, and formed a new Oracle Netsuite business unit, managed by Executive Vice President Evan Goldberg. Today, the NetSuite CRM or NetSuite as a whole, continually grows its service, revenue, and community as the company garners $884.6 M in revenue, along with its 10001+ growing employees.

Reviews
“ As good a view of the customer as our team enters ”
- Easily share information between departments and easily access inventory. The range of information it can easily provide is impressive.
- It is flexible as you can customize it to how best you would like it to fit your use. You can actually store all the communication that you have with your clients for future use if any.
- The promo code interface could also use more work, or more options at least. Why, for example, do we have a limitation in regards to “BOGO.”
- A number of times the software is down as it is in the cloud, and the server hosting the software has issues, causing loss of productivity for hours.
“ Managed inquires and converted leads using software ”
- NetSuite CRM+ has a simple, interactive and responsive user interface right from the setup.
- They could use better documentation of certain process and modules, especially how they can sometimes interfer with each other.
- This needlessly results in dozens of promo codes per flyer. And unfortunately there is no “add multiple” promo code on a sales order, which makes it much slower for our sales team to add the codes.
- Sometimes another cons for this tool is the speed, it runs slow, even when you have a high speed internet connection, so don´t be anxious or desperate when you are working on this tool.
“ NetSuite CRM+ is great for deep insight on your customers ”
- Highly customizable, web-based, allowed for different roles and accessibility, reporting and scheduling capabilities were a huge factor.
- It has a lot of detail for each customer/account and since it is part of NetSuite you don’t have to deal with the sync process of using another program.
- It can be very challenging to create advanced reports or searches
- Very difficult to use and nothing is user friendly. Adding calendar events, notes, etc. are just eacy to enter or lookup. The mobile app is basically non-functional as it only give the very basic information on each account. There is no way to schedule routes.

Q & A
The answer is both. Yes, NetSuite is fully capable of processing your finance processes with its ERP features while providing a platform for you to connect and engage with customers and convert leads to prospects. This makes for a powerful yet flexible solution for your business.
In all honesty, plenty of users are still conflicted about the ease of using the NetSuite system. Some find it difficult to learn, however, NetSuite CRM does provide a training process to get you started. Although most users agree that the platform is highly customizable to suit your preferences.
The base license of using Netsuite is at $999 per month, plus an additional $99 per user per month. However, this could swell up to $100K per year depending on the size of the business. The plan can either be renewed annually or over long intervals in between payments.
The short answer is no. For small businesses, it’s important to invest, however, with NetSuite’s CRM pricings, it’s more of a waste of money than an investment. Startups and small businesses should consider other CRM platforms aside from NetSuite.
